This course focused on transforming design concepts into fully realized garments through hands-on construction techniques. Building on previous work in sketching and technical flats, I learned to sew, drape, and construct toiles to test fit, proportion, and design details. The course emphasized tailoring techniques, pattern alterations, and fabric manipulation—bridging the gap between ideation and physical execution. Special attention was given to craftsmanship, fit, and finish, deepening my understanding of how two-dimensional designs take shape in three-dimensional form.
